                        By virtue of Section 5 of the Condominium Act B.E. 2522 and Section 19 bis paragraph two of the Condominium Act B.E.2522 amended by the Condominium Act  (No.3) B.E.2542, this Ministerial Regulation shall be issued by Minister of Ministry of Interior as follow:

                        The City of Pattaya shall be an other local administration unit under Section 19 bis paragraph two.

Remark - Reasons for promulgation of this Ministerial Regulation are as follows:

Whereas it is expedient to grant Pattaya City be an “other local public administration unit” besides Bangkok Metropolitan and municipality. This is to facilitate aliens and juristic person deemed by law as aliens applying to hold the ownership in condominium units in a higher proportion than forty nine percent of the total space of all units in the condominium. In connection with Section 19 bis paragraph two of the Condominium Act B.E. 2522 amended by the Condominium Act (No.3) B.E. 2542, that the establishment of other local administration unit shall be made by ministerial regulation. It is therefore expedient to prescribe the same to make them more suitable.
